going to France???

My name is Natasha and I am an american art student going to Paris, France in June. I welcome any penpals as well as any information on the not-so-touristy things to do, especially shopping. I wouldn't mind even meeting at a cafe while there? Please e-mail me at sunbum23@aol.com. I was born and raised in California and now live in Arizona. I have a maltese dog named Sharpie. I love the sun and water and anything outdoors. I have traveled all my life and I am starting to travel more now. Anyone interested, I would love to write!

Paris Guide

Hi, I've got a nice Paris guide you can download. I put it together after traveling to Paris for 10 year. NO advertising or promotions, just my personal guide.  Reply here.

Hi, Natasha. I'm not too seriously into shopping so can't give you much advice there. If you are a student, you might find your best prices in the shops on Blvd. St. Michel and the area because it's near the university. If you go up to Pl. la Sorbonne (the square in front of the university of the same name), you'll find lots of book stores that are fun. Obviously, they carry a lot more than books. However, if you walk around the corner, there are all kinds of stores . . . shoes, clothing, etc. that are pretty reasonable and very French.

Regarding the pen pal . . . there is a thread right under this one that is strictly for Pen Pals (that's the title) and you might get more answers posting there. Perhaps you have already done that, but if not, you might consider it to get more answers.

Hope you enjoy your trip. Paris is wonderful!

French Clothing

Dear Natatsha I think you should tell some people about what kind of clothing there is. I would like to know about it.
