Hotel reviews

Hi, tks. I would recommend the Hotel de la Sorbonne in the Latin Quarter of Paris. It is right across the street from the University so in a busy area with lots of students. It is a half block from the Place de la Sorbonne with lots of restaurants and shops. You can walk to all the major tourist sites and there are three nearby Metro stops (and two RER stations). It is very inexpensive and yet very clean and friendly. The desk is staffed 24 hours a day and the staff speak English if you need that.

Or type in Sorbonne and it should come up in the search engine here. We always book through France.com and have never had a problem.

The Hotel de la Sorbonne is small but very nice and certainly very safe. You won't find anything much less expensive either unless you want to do the hostel thing.
