Bus travel in France & Europe

Does anyone have any good links for bus travel in France and the rest of Europe, like connections from France to Germany or Italy?

The France.com home page has buttons for airlines, rail travel and car rental but nothing for buses. I know they exist; I've seen them!

Bus travel

Are there any bus connections frm Lezignan corbieres to Carcassonne My EMail address is eddieleftdk@hotmail.com Thank you

TPWIAO: It just occurred to me. With the magnificent rail system that France and most of Europe has, the need for bus transportation would usually only be needed for intracity travel. Why would anyone in their right mind travel intercity by bus when you can do it much more comfortably, reliably, and safely by train. Then again... Donerail

I've Googled and all the sites for Italian buses are in Italian. I can't read the schedules and many other people can't read the schedules. You can't always find an Italian on the forum to help you. German schedules tend to also be in German. France is the most English-speaking user-friendly country in Europe!

The France.com airplane and train reservation system is great and covers the entire world, so why not buses too? Many people, including Europeans use them. We certainly did in Italy. We parked in a small town and caught the bus into the city. It was great! We used them in Nice too. Great to avoid driving in city traffic.

I did find one Italian bus site in English (courtesy of a hotel group) and the schedule was out of date and inaccurate. They also didn't tell you whether or not the schedule was in effect on weekends.

I spend a lot of time recommending the Hotel, Airfare, Train, Auto rental and Shuttle service on France.com so wouldn't it be nice if people could come here and find everything?!

They asked for suggestions; I made a suggestion.

Just Google europe busses. Donerail
