French pop music

I was looking for some information about French Pop Music and I found out there are very few English sources that cover this. I thought this was kind of weird as there's so much good French music out there, so I decided to start my own blog about it, it's at FrenchScene.Net.

Do you like it , what's your first impression? How can I make it better?

Do you want me to discuss certain french pop artists?

Do you know other good sites that cover this topic and you could recommend?

France's Map

Hi there,

I don't know if any of you saw it but in the french map, on the left of your screen, there are some mistakes.

My teen son is dating a French teen girl--HELP!

My thirteen year old son is dating a girl whose parents are from France. Her mom seems to realize that this is only puppy love and has giver the ok. Her father, however, is violently opposed. We live too far away from them for the kids to hang out in person. Now that school is out, they just talk on the phone constantly! So...is the father just a typical "I don't want my daughter to date until she's 30!" type of dad or are there some different rules for French teenagers? (if they can drink wine and go to the beach topless, why not let them date???) Just thought I'd check! If anyone knows, please tell me!

Thanks!

France can keep it's soul

America is a different kind of country than France, unfortunatly,we seem to let everyone in,even the illegal aliens. We have lost our soul. I have nothing against people of other cultures than my own,but they shouldn't impose their culture on another country. When people immigrate to another country the least they can do is learn the language andassiulate. They ofcourse, can keep their religion, but must practice it peaceable. France should learn a lesson from the events of this last summer and fall. There's an old saying, "When in Rome, do as the Romans do." I say When in France do as the French do. If you don't like French laws and culture move some place else. Come to America, we take anyone!
