Only Discounted Vacation Rental Properties

Summers are here and it is vacation time but before I could notice, recession has slowly crept in along with summers with high fuel costs and shaky economy. But I was hell bound to find discounted vacation rentals which suits my style of vacations and I came across many sites which had useful information relating to discounted vacation rentals situated all over the world.

I was so thrilled to find some sites like VRDiscounts.com where Vacation renters can find discount month wise also and can contact property owners directly by mail or over phone. Visitors can drill down further search and view the most recently added vacation rentals offering discounts.

Finally I could realize the real power of WEB where the whole world looks so small and at your fingertips.

I would like to help anyone travelling to France and wanting to rent a gite directly with the property owner. I would highly recommend www.simplygites.com as we have just returned from a great holiday all booked through simply gites.

Stop Over Paris

Hi, My friend and I are joining a winery tour to Chablis and Burgundy the late August.  We are thinking to stop over to Paris for Friday-Sunday before we head up to Chablis.

In the Forum, I found that Normandie and Loire sounds interesting, are they public transportation accessible? Is train convenient?.  IS day trip doable?

Also, we know nothing about lodging, such as B&B, hotel.  Should we find some here close to train station? Any idea?

Paris and Nice

HI- any advice would be appreciated. My husband and I would like to plan our first trip to France in July. We'd like to spend a few days in Paris and also make the trip down to Nice.  Any advice in terms of how best to travel from Paris to Nice, and any other recommendations would be so helpful. Thank you.

My first trip to France

Je suis Sud Africaine. Je m'appelle Karen. I have a love for France, the language and its people. I have been learning french for many years and speak it fairly well. I am planning my first trip to France in September. I would like to spend a few days in Paris and then hire a car and travel down South. Can anyone assist me in telling where I should go. Thanks so much
