Southern France Extravaganzas
Submitted by shandredaz on January 27, 2008 - 3:34pm.So i'm off to the city of Sete (still not quite sure how to pronounce...sounds like "set" maybe?). Was wondering if anyone knew of fun activities to do around southern France (asside from sight seeing). I was thinking of hiking, renting bikes...and that's all i can think of...any suggestions?

Father Lachaise is a cemetary but not a sad and squalid place.
Father Lachaise is a "must see" in Paris and, above all, a beautiful undulating and green park with an extraordinary sculpture collection.

Honeymoon in Paris

We are getting married on December 21st and plan on leaving for Paris on the 26th after Christmas. So just a few questions:1. As a first timer what are the major things we should not miss, and what should we not waste our time with?2. We are more old fashioned type, not into the modern hotels or anything, so we are thinking about staying on the left bank. What are the best hotels to stay at?
Best Debit Card/US Financial Inst to Use in France?

I have read that using credit cards yield the best and easiest exchange. However, for atms and debit cards, I have been told that some US financial institutions yield lower transaction fees than others. Advice please? Merci beaucoup en avance!
