THE SITE
"The jewel of the Emerald Coast".
Dinard truly deserves this title. Clinging to the Pointe de Saint-Enogat, this little gem can be found in a setting of greenery and rocks, nestling in a hollow on the untamed coastline of the English Channel. Its outstanding location, its bracing iodised air makes it an ideal spot for a successful thalassotherapy programme.

Cairn of Barnenez
Submitted by Editors on October 22, 2008 - 10:48am.Situated on the Kernéléhén peninsula in the Finistère-Nord region, the Barnenez cairn is one of the first traces of buildings made in durable materials in Europe. This gigantic megalith dates back to the Neolithic period, which corresponds to the appearance of smooth stone, breeding and agriculture in Europe.
At the top of a hill by the English Channel, this strange ancient building is characterised by its oblong aspect and its age, since it dates back to 4500 to 3500 BC. The long corridors, which lead to funeral rooms, can be interpreted as funeral spaces or initiation places.
The Parlement of Rennes

Rennes is the region's capital and should be included in any visit to Brittany. It is ideally situated at the heart of a dual carriageway network linking Brittany to Paris and Normandy and to the areas south of the Loire divide.

Quimper

Quimper is located in Brittany.
Brittany (French: Bretagne, Breton: Breizh) is a diverse region of northwestern France.
Brittany received its modern name when it was settled (in around 500 AD) by Britons, whom the Anglo-Saxons had driven from Britain. Breton history is one long struggle for independence — first from the Franks (5th-9th century), then the Counts of Anjou and the Dukes of Normandy (10th-12th century), and finally from England and France.
