With its temperate yet sunny climate, its steep mountains and untamed scrubland, the fascinating island of Corsica offers visitors a real change of scenery. Overlooking the bay of Ajaccio and the Îles Sanguinaires, Accor Thalassa Porticcio invites you to enjoy a stay focusing on yourself. It has the advantage of an exclusive beach of natural sand set in a cove at the foot of the hotel.

The town has no airport - the nearest is in Bastia, about 45 minutes' drive. There is no train station. You can arrive by boat as the town has a marina. There is a large free car park on the road towards the cathedral.

There are busses from other major Corsican towns, and ferries from other locations. Calvi

Description

Calvi is a city on the French island of Corsica and the biggest tourist centre of the island proper.

Because of the Corsica's strategic location, Calvi has a rich and chequered history. The earliest found remains of settlers in Calvi date back to the Neolithic period, in one of its many caves.
