We need help with our vacation plans
Submitted by petulah on June 22, 2009 - 11:37am.My two or three friends and I want to vacation in Paris with my one year old daughter for about 4 to 6 days.
I desperately need help- I can't figure out the regions and I prefer to stay in an apartment rather than a hotel- my daughter is very well behaved and so are my freinds and I
We want to do the museums, eiffel tower and the like- typical tourist attractions.
We want to travel around the ending of august- beginning of sept 2009.
Any help will be greatly appreciated- like any leads on apartments, best regions to be in, which airport is best to land in- etc
Thank You
A wonderful boutique hotel experience
Submitted by dkartuzinski on June 8, 2009 - 3:01pm.I recently went to Paris and stayed at the hotel called, The Five Hotel Paris. It was perfect. This hotel wasn't too expensive but not a cheap hotel. The bottom line is that you felt transported into a magical environment for a fairly great price.
Even though you room colors and even scents! can be customized to create a surreal experience the best part of being at the hotel is the fact that it is centrally located in the middle of Paris. It is near the famous rue Mouffetard, the Lutetia Arena, the Luxembourg Garden and the Pantheon. I found the most amazing restaurant on top of the hill near the Pantheo. It's right by the Genevieve Cathedral. Starts with an L, sorry forgot the name.
Paris Vacation Apartment Rentals - ParisForRent.com
Submitted by Astalavista on May 12, 2009 - 10:42am.Hello, We have just returned from a 2 weeks trip to Paris and i would like to share with you this little jewel of an agency that I found by chance.
We used http://www.parisforrent.com to book our flat and it was an extremely positive experience. They are based in California and have a great selection of very central and beautiful flats. Their prices are very competitve and you have the level of service you can expect from an american agency even though they are all French!
There are many special deals on their website and I would really recommend contacting them, as they are extremely helpful. They helped us find excatly what we wanted and made our trip positively memorable!
Have a good trip!

Submitted by cathy.starden on May 2, 2009 - 7:22am.Just return from paris and i want to share some advises with you :
first of all, if you go to the louvre museum, don't take the main entrance but the "lion's door" this is a small entrance that is hide and nobody knows it.
second advise don't take the taxi from and to the airport but ask to your hotel reception a shuttle service around 18 euro per person.
third advises : choose the perfect side of paris Left bank or right bank) I prefer the left bank which is more american.
